    Arrow Temp readings

    Hey a friends VP V6 temp gauge sits on 1/2 in hot weather and 3/4 in hot weather with the A/C on..

    He says its to hot and think its ok, so what does yours read in the same conditions??
    I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

    comnpared to other vn/vps it is a bit high, but compared to mine it is bloody good!! mine usually always sit above 1/2 in any weather but can get close to 4/4 in traffic... but just bought a davies craig thermo switch so ill give it a go as you can adjust what temp the fan comes on apparently... if all goes well i will tell youse about it...

    run a cooler thermostat if it is overheating... usually fixes the problem

    does just any auto place sell the cooler thermostats like super cheap or repco or do you have to go to FIT or someone, as ive been interested in getting one of them for a while now... cheers

    Yes they do, just make sure you get the right one. I got mine for $15, whic is 82deg I think.

    ahh ok cheers holden007, so if the 82deg thermostat is the cooler one what deg is the standard one?
