my mate is selling his vn its runnig and everything poor as body, want to take it out to the farm but his vn has no swaybar, are they alright to drive without one?
sway bar or panhard rod??? sway bar yes panhard rod no
I wouldnt go over 80 km/h I've had a sway bar nut come loose and tried to take a sweeping corner at 130 and it almost ended very badly indeed. The car cut in too hard to the corner and I couldn't keep it straight I ended up going over the entrance to someones driveway then straight across the wrong lane almost into the trees, this was all on a corner that wasn't all that sharp I mean you should be able to take it at least at 160 if you wanted to. It was actually 95% loosing it, I just somehow realised in that split second that I had to stop turning and go straight over that driveway or I was going to end on the roof in a tree. So yeah take it easy with no sway bar man, they are important. And when you do get it on the farm be prepared because it might go on it's lid
.
Note: My wheels were in some shonky alignment at this time also which made the car even more nervious
lol, thanks man
so in other words its more fun without one
My car had a front swaybar link missing when I bought it, didn't feel real good at all, but it was definitely driveable. The previous owner had removed it because it was shagged and he couldn't be stuffed replacing it, he'd been driving it like that for a couple of weeks. I'd say as long as you take it easy you'll get there fine.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

i had a few bolts missing off the sway bar once the, car pretty much steered it self, very unsafe and massive body roll!
kilowatts are like drugs, the more you get, the more you want.
