Default VN Series1 ute A/C sudden stop.

    G'day again.

In my ute the A/C must have a short somewhere as the fuse finally burnt out after melting half the holder. It had the suggested amperage fuse too 25amp.

I removed & repaired as good as possible on side of road. All went well, then a week or so later it stopped working. ... Drove in driveway, A/C ok. Drove out driveway A/C inop. Whathe????

Any ideas? Is this a common thing in Vn's?

It could need to be re-gased. But I don't know what the 'symtoms' are of one that needs to be done.

    Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Check the black wire that connects to the aircon compressor to see if it has shorted on something.
