i crashed. :( (trying to drift)

hey i smashed my vn calais into a gutter, and i think the control arm for the drivers side front wheel is bent.
How much would an estimate be of a new one?
its gay i tried to keep a drift going too long! :S

my mate threw his at a gutter broke the pan hard rod, pandhard rod mount was wrecked two rims, one tyre, radious rod, ball joint and needed an aligment and he hit it harrddd like 40km sideways the car jumped off the ground when it hit
about 1300 in all damage but we fixed it for around $500-$600

yea its not worth trying to drift, especially in these cars, im not expert driver but i found out the hard way that these cars dont drift very well if not at all. Occasionally ill give it a bit of a flick, but not more!

Speaking of going sideways, Middleborough Road freeway onramp corner yesterday + rain + visible oil slick + 80kmph + NO throttle = holy **** I was NOT expecting that! I was ****ting myself trying not to let the commodore over-correct itself, meanwhile my girlfriend didn't even CARE that we were at a 90 degree angle to the road... she thought I meant to do it! lmao

But You're probably looking in the vacinity of $300 all up to fix it if you're lucky. If you can find a wreckers that fit and install, that would be the place to go. But yeah... If you try and drift anything on public roads you're going to ***k it up sooner or later. Even pros get it crossed up all the time. Just be glad you didn't hit another car, or a person.

Haha, yeah, that always seem to be the way. The passenger pretty much always sits there blissfully ignorant of what just happened. It's like "Holy cool can you do that again?"

hehe i spun around and my left rear hit the gutter on my right in front of me, did a full 180 in less than 2 seconds. bent the rim onto the panhard braket and pushed it across. didnt even bend the panhard rod. but yer a lil bit of stick and u can **** up
