Some very bad pre-ignition on VN V6

My VN has started Pre-igniting (pinging) pretty damn bad. whenever there is any real load (anything more than driving like a 90 year old) up hills or anything it pings...

What should i check?

Poor fuel, although I believe that the V6 is quite tolerate on bad fuel.

Low fuel pressure causing it to run lean. Block fuel filter, dying fuel pump (this is what caused mine to ping), other fuel blockages.
