    Default performance fuel filter

    hi there guys is anyone farmiliar with them fuel filters ppl put up under the boot near the fuel tank??? there suppose to be performance fuel filters i am after one but i dont know what you call the the part the fuel filter screws on?? if some one could tell what you call that part that would really help me out heaps thanks ppl,s

    You mean this type of fuel filter? Most performance part shops stock them and the brackets and fittings.

    yer that looks like what im after but what do you call the thing that the filter goes onto?? and do you know any online store,s where i could browse for these parts?? thanks for your help m8

    how big of a part does thi splay in performance/economy wise, it is worth buying and having instead of the stock fuel filter??

    It comes down to cost. Sometimes a replacement element is cheaper than the complete filter and also the ease of replacement. If you mounted the filter up in the engine bay it would make it easier to replace. You can also play around with flow ratings on the filters to see what has the best filtration without losing fuel pressure or volume.
