ive heard, dunno if its true that vn-vp had problems with suction when the doors get opened and it can cause cracks in the back or front windows, ive only ever seen one shatter as the drivers door got opened but that was on a 35 degree day that had a cold morning... liek i said i dunno if its what causes it but as soon as the door opened it went crack

bird didn't drop anything onto it? or kids around throwing stuff at your car...
it is possible what peanuts inc has said, but i have never seen it happen, however i have seen brand new windscreens crack when a door is shut, when a new screen is fitted,(all windows have been shut)always leave a window down enough to let the cabin pressure to pass through it,also the car must not be move for at least 4 hours after a new screen fitment

i need a new one too! a bird hit it ages ago on the passenger side, it is a medium sized cirular fracture about 4cm's, which then cracked left to right, then up and down from that over time, so theres like 3 cracks nearing the edges of the glass. definately wont pass for rego this time(but it did with the initial fracture) which was suprising. so $170 is about the going rate?...
