Default rough ilde when engine hot!

When I start my car say 15 minutes after I have already driven it.. (When engine is really hot) it idles really bad. It revs lower than normal and fluctuates slightly. However when cold it idles better than most VNs. Sometimes it feels like its about to stall. What do you guys think it could be? Anyone had a similar problem?

Sure have with the last couple weeks of BP premium :P, so first thing to try is a different brand of fuel than you normally use

I vary my fuel brand a fair bit and I've been having this problem for a while now so I don't think it's a fuel brand problem.

So what is the MAP and how do I check it? Also how do I check the TPS. I'm not getting any fault codes....Apart from the odd code13. Could this be related to my extractor/o2 sensor problem?

my mates vn6 had this exact problem...turned out to be a failing lead.
when it does it again just start pulling a lead off at a time and eventually you will pull one off and the engine will run the same instead of running worse after a lead has been pulled off.
    hope that made sense lol

I finally got around to checking my coil pack (vn series 2) and found that the resistance between the primary terminals of each coil is wrong. I'm getting 1.86 ohms which is out of the proper range. (0.3 - 1.5 ohms) Do you think I should replace it? The secondary resistance of the 3 coils was fine. Can you buy just the ignition control module? (the block underneath the 3 coils...i think thats what its called.)

Also is it meant to be between .3 - 1.5 ohms or "k" ohms. cheers

I thought the car would barely run with such a wrong resistance. Does anyone have experience with this. cheers
