    Default Idle RPM

What RPM should the car be sitting on when idling? In Neutral or Park the VN sits at about 1500-2000RPM. This seems a bit high to me.

Ok, its about 1500-2000 hot and like 1000-1500 cold.... Is it possible to change the idle? I have recently cleaned the IAC perhaps this is causing it? (NB the battery gets disconnected after each use atm as the glove box is out and the light just stays on and drains the battery )

For the globebox issue, grab some paper or something and scrunch it up and place it over the button, then use electrical tape or similar to tape it over the button so that the light stays off.

The SS sits on around 700-800rpm. Have you played with the idle stop screw at all?

Well since the car doesn't get used atm as I am working on it (interior/exterior work, engine a bit later in the year) and it stays off the road (just has to be moved occasionally) I would be leaving the battery disconnected anyway (just a habit I have developed

Where abouts is that? Would you be able to post a picture for me?
