Found something

G'day all
I was playing around in the ute on sunday and had the passenger side door open and found a black rubber cover under the top hinge,i lifted it and the is a key slot in there ? alarm ? ive had the ute for 12 months and this is the first time ive seen this.Ive worked on hundreds of commodores and have never seen one before,so anyone know what this is for

standard security thing on vp and vr(thats all i know of, possibly later models aswell) to disable immobiliser.

It's on all VP's if you turn the key on the central locking via the remote will work

its on the lexens as like hakhawk said it to disable immobiliser
