hey i have a problem with my ehaust, when i go over a bump or have a carload of people in it the exhaust constintaly rattles, i have checked it out and i beleive it is rattling on the skinny suspension arm, i was wondering if there is anything i can put on the suspension arm to stop the rattling or lift the exhaust up a but etc "preferably something i can do myself"
mines started rattling too, i figured out what it is, it's the tip rattling against the side of the skirt at the back. seems that it's been knocked underneath and pushed it or bent it, but the orings are still there and seem in good knick.
it only knocks when it's under load or at low revs.
sounds (or in this case rattles) like your missing or have a broken exhaust mount. check all the rubber mounts on the exhaust.

Ruby's exhaust rattles when I accelerate a little harder than normal. But thats because ages ago, I was reversing out of a friends driveway, and didn't realise the angle of the road to the driveway and it hit a broke something.
I've jacked her up and looked under her, and it's not broken too badly. I can't see that I've snapped any brackets or anything.
