    Default Big Troubles..S.O.S

Hey team ive got a VP Commodore motor in a imported 4runner..Engine was running magic then went into Auto electrics for new wiring loom due to fuel pump staying on after car off..ran fine for a couple weeks.now it will run fine for a while then if i turn it off for 30 minutes it will start then run really rough and Backfire pretty badly..and stop..if i leave for an hour it will run fine??..i have changed...

    Plugs,leads,injectors,coil pack,computer,fuses,oxygen sensor.

yesterday i found the fuel pump fuse melted into the housing so i replaced the housing with new ones i was so happy thinking i found the problem but it just did it again...

before i replaced the computer the old one was heating up so hot couldnt touch??

does anyone know what might be wrong or had similar problems...

Please look past the 4runner body the motor came out of my vp i loved very much when it got rusty i got a transplant....

    Any help would be great...

ecu getting hot, try all your earth connections etc. fuses melting is normally caused by bad connectoins causing excessive heat.
