Have i got a series 1 or series 2 engine in my VN

Its a 1991 VN

i have heard that if the raditor pipe is going into the top front of the engine is a series 2

could someone please clarify this, and say how else to tell the difference between the series 1 and series 2 engines

Series 2 mate if its 1991.

Series 2 engine... note thermostat at the back, radiator cap on radiator and the coolant overflow bottle and its lid... Much different to series 1.

yip thats the same as my engine. So now I know I got a series two i can convert it to manual with out having to change the engine, just get a 8 bolt flywheel right??
