hi guys has anyone here ever used engine ice??? i was considering using it as its extremly effective at cooling the motor, but just a little too effective apparently? as in the block has to get hot enough to let the piston move inside the bore, any thoughts would be much appriciated.![]()

Any type of coolant that is supposed to be the ducks nuts will not be better than water as an effective cooling agent. The reason there are additives and different types of coolant is to stop corrosion and in cold climates, to stop the water from freezing. Look at a nuclear power plant, what does it use as a coolant? Water.....just plain old H2O. If there was a more effective way of cooling a nuclear reactor, wouldn't they be using it? I use distilled water with a corrosion inhibitor in my VS. I have been using the same combination in every car I have owned and serviced. Never had a problem.
