Default LED lights in rear wing

What are these worth to replace? I've only got about 4 that aren't working, but I heard you have to replace the whole bank of lights?

Can you get these from Autobarn, Repco or places similar?

Take the light out and go to one of those shops and see if they can match it up. As long as you get one the same size it should be good. To replace the individual LED's you would have to get the exact same type or the loads, brightness and resistance will be different.

Ahhh, ok. So it is possible to replace single ones, but it's much easier to replace the whole lot?

    Any idea on cost?

Damn, just for a few lights? Looks like that'll be waiting for a few weeks to be done....

The LED's are cheap, the whole unit is the dear bit. You will need to take the light apart and remove an LED to match t up. Some have the voltage and luminosity on the globe some don't. I bought a mixed bag of 100 off the net for $10. They don't have anything on them but the site I got them from had all the information I needed. It would be harder to match up if there was nothing on the globe or the light about them.

    What you do is...

Open up your boot.... Find the screws on each side of the spoiler (where it's attatched to the boot) - there's 4 all up...

Undo those.... Hey presto! Spoilers gone! Problem solved!

    But wait... There's more!!

    But that's not all!!!

some times you gotta weigh up the pro's and cons of doing a replacement of led's. when one is blown expect the rest to follow very soon.

my sugestion is you take a trip to auto barn or super cheap, have a chat to them. take in the measure mentments onf the actual led bank, i.e. 15cm long, 2cm high, and 3cm wide. that will give them a idea, or even better, take the old one in, they can match them up. cost of a new led brake light for the rear wing is nto much, looking at anywhere form 20 to 30, depending on lengh and type of course.
