i buggered the a/c up

hi all thats right i buggered the ac up.
i took the dash apart on my vp. to put a cd player in now. i only have air on my feet. not good..
i looked it over again and everything is hooked up right,
everything else works good but that....

any help would be goog thanks.

When you move the aircon switch from say face, to feet, do you hear it make a noise ... ???

they work on a vacuum, and if you don't hear anything, then the big top black plug is not on properly... I had this problem ... Was not quite the same symptoms as you are having, but were close...

Also check that none of the tubes have been pinched.

you have a vacuem leak somewhere it goes to feet by defult. did you touch the rubber plug behind the heater switch dials?

I had this when a stereo shop installed my alpine system. It was a vacuum hose that had popped off. Not sure which one, they fixed it for me.

Usually, it is that big black ugly one at the top.. Due to its length it is really hard to put it on .. Took me a while to do it ... If you are in Sydney, PM me, and I can show you it ... I no longer have the VN to take pics of wht it is ..

the big plug is on fine and all it must be somewhere else.
