My car was playing up heaps a while ago, and would cut out and when i turned the ignition on the check engine light wouldn't come on and the car wont start, but when you turn the key on and off a few times the engine light came on and the car would start, but sometimes the car stalls and you have to put the hazard lights on, sometimes the engine light comes on and you can start it by just putting the gears in neutrul and just start it but sometimes the engine light dissappears and you have to turn the key on and off a few times and it will work, so what would the reason be. what i can think of is the alarm system so i was thinking of getting a good aftermarket alarm and immobilisar as i want electric boot release and the turning lights to flash when you lock and unlock the car.

most likely the zadi key in the passenger door shut between the hinges or in the glovebox factory immobilizer the zadi key switches seem to stuff out give it a wiggle with a screwdriver if you dont have a key.you can get a new one or bypass the switch all together

how much are good aftermarket alarms that have electric boot release and can be connected to the turning lights to flash when you lock/unlock the car like the smartlock did on our old ED ford did
