as the title suggests, my vp has a crack in one of the water tanks of the radiator, nothing major but i don't wanna have it get worse.
i been keeping an eye on the parts for sale section i saw a vr radiator, will this fit/work in a vp?
i also seen a couple of v8 radiators for sale (mine's the 3.8 but) is there any advantage to getting one of them instead?
A VP V8 radiator will bolt straight in, they have an extra row of cores so you will get better flow. Don't fit the colder thermostat if you go for one of these though as it will run too cold.
thanks man, oyamum's got one for sale (a v8 radiator) but i don't know what model it's off. hose joins look the same.
still looking for one, anyone know will the shroud from a vp v6 fit with a s2 vn6 or a similar v8 radiator?
I'm fairly sure it will.
And on the topic of thermostats and cooling, I'm running an 82 degree thermostat in my engine and it kept everything rather well under control over summer![]()

yeah i was gonna go the cooler thermostat, but i only heard about it after i did a flush and clean with a new stock thermo and gasket, so i cbf'd doing it all again for the thermostat
I am sure that the VR radiator will fit as I have fitted a VR radiator into my VN Calais.
And everything lines up ok, all the hoses and auto pipes lined up perfectly.
I hope that this answers your question ok.

I brought my VN S Pack with a VR Radiator pre-installed. As im not a car person (Not very knowledgable of parts etc) i took it to the family mechanics mechanics. Because he said it needed a new thermo sensor. I had heard of that part because i was going to buy a VK a few months prior but the thermo sensor went. But the mechanic looked at me and said it was the radiator. The guy had stuffed around with car so much wires were everywhere. But luckily all it needed was 2 new fuses to get the fan working. So i assume a VR radiator would fit a VP![]()
