    Default thermos kicking in early!

( that speed was done in a controlled environment )

Now, i have a problem with my thermos kicking in early, the thermos kick in at the first big notch ( not the first little skinny one ), my temp never goes over the first big notch, never has since i bought the car 3 years ago, i since changed my dash cluster ( i think its a VP lexen one or something like that, it looks heaps better than the VN one :S yuk! lol ) on my old VN dash cluster the thermos would kick in at half way, does anyone know whats going on? , iv replaced my radiator, thermo's, thermo stat, hoses, water pump, fluid various times, thermostate houseing, basicly all the cooling system has been replaced, any one can answer this correctly gets a chocy frog

i have found the calibration of the temp gauges on these dashes to be different from one to another, just to make sure let your car idle, stick the thermometer in the radiator and just watch here they come on at.

yeah. the guage has a different sensor to the computer. maybe the guage one is stuffed/broken wire. i think the guage one is the single wire sensor, the computer one is a 2 wire one.
