    Default central locking module

    is there a seperate central locking module for the 1992 vp series 1 execs. if so whare is it located to or is there only the theft deterant module that does the alarm and central locking

    i think it's all in the one module.

    I could be wrong, but I think there are 2 modules. One module is the alarm module which is mounted behind the dash above the glove box and then there is the central locking module which is about level with the glove box, just above the ECU on the passengers side. It is a black looking module with a number of wires running to it. If you have a power antenna, the module will be with it as well
    I just install a factory central locking system into my VN from a VN Berlina.
    I am not sure if the VP had a BCM or similar.

    if it's the same as the VN's you will find the anti theft system right under your heater(you can see just a bit of it,if you look down under your console-passenger side,looking directly under the heater),but don't hold me to that,as i have been informed by others,that VP's may differ.
