Who has a BT1?? or ex police

aslo can you list what options it has eg: engine, trans, power windows, lsd, suspension, ect
also what color is it.

Ive got a '95 VR BT1 Series 2, came auto, fe2 suspention, extra wires over the joint eg. from passanger side pillar to under the dash, head lights, and lots of holes in the trim! Colour is white.
All I can think of atm.

i think about 90% of bt1's would be white other 10% would be d's

the mrs old man had one, just wrote it off. smashed in front and rear. was white V6 auto, fe2, LSD. hopefully the diff will be coming my way soon

mine is a 5ltr it had fe2 suspension its got lsd upgraded brakes power windows 50,000 extra wires every where. auto.

i started this thread because i had a GREEN vs bt1 manual at work and i was just wondering how many were manual

i know a bloke in central nsw that has a 5 litre 5 spd bt1 its an off white colour with fe2 and yeah the extra wires and unwanted holes in the dash i'll see if i can get in contact with him and get more specs

mines white BT1 fe2 suspension, shift kitted, memcal retuned, sump guard, binnacle light, exhaust upgrade, have since fitted power windows all around

Yeah its not a BT1 tho It was just a dealer purchased car that they chose the options on. Also the SS bumpers and berlina side moulds are most likely from a wreak when they repaired it from the damage

I know it's not a BT1. Hence why I first posted the question over whether he wanted BT1's or just any car owned by police.

Got an ex-NSW Police Service VP BT1 executive, it's dark blue metallic with 5Lt, auto, FE2, ABS, IRS, red body moulding stripe all round, interceptors, and factory SS seats all round. Not many holes in dash, only a couple of small ones that have been bogged up. I haven't looked hard but I haven't found any extra wiring yet. Supposedly it came from the police in Bathurst Does anyone remember what dark blue VP's were used for in NSW at the time? Would have it been marked or unmarked do you guys think? Here in SA dark blue VT's were always unmarked cars.

ok got the specs its a off white series 1 1989 vn bt1 5 litre 5 speed manual with brown trim was originally a marked highway patrol car from albury wodonga has 183xxx kms on the clock has a 90 litre fuel tank and lsd diff also has original grey plastic bumpers they werent colour coded

my roof has also been re painted from where the lights or the number was, and they did a dodgy job

ive got a 90 vn bt1. v8 auto, lsd, shift kit, more under dash wiring than NASA, holes over the console. also an interesting one is that the lock out button for changing from third to second in the auto has been removed so they just bang it back to second on the go. 90 litre tank. pacemakers, CAI, slotted rotters and vt brakes

Neighbour has a VR ser 2 BT1 V6 FE2 LSD,ex QLD detective car.They have owned it since the cops,Ex wifes dad had a VH 6cl 4spd that was a marked car and you could still see the old number on the roof 13.
I purchased an expolice car last week.it has a sump guard and extra looms under the bonnet,Oh and its a BA falcon station wagon.

the other thing is: has any one got the switch to stop the interor light coming on when the doors are open?? or was that only on the undercover/stake out cars?

all cop cars i think, maybe after a certain year. they even did it in some counsil cars, them under cover ones

mine's a v8 auto with bigger tank, too much wiring, braded alt. earth, fe2, ford interor light or some thing like it and it shifts back to second with out lifting the handle

thats strange mine dosnt go back to second with out lifting the handle.
but it was a manual before i bought it, when i got it it had an auto in it

the shifters were modified to go back to second without lifting lever,my neighbour has it.

my mother in law bought my mates BT1 ex TOG car
7/97 VS Exec 5ltr auto.
Inst cluster light, speedo in 2km intervals, modified trans gate (also have that on my VS Berlina), FE2, LSD, gutted cat and single muffler exh, sump guard, 17" wheels, modified TPS and increased timing and reprogrammed memcal. Oh and yes it's white. Bought about 5 years ago with 85k on odo for $13,000 (reg 12mnths and RWC).

im 90% sure they all came out with lsd.
all the bt1's listed here have lsd

i bought the mrs a ex cop vx the other week, fe2 , slip resistant diff, dual air bags , cop speedo, cruise control,full power pack, bash plate, map reading interior light, interior light isolation button on the dash, but no where on any of the ID plates read 9c1. Do any of you guys know why this is so ? cheers. oh & its white in colour, & no holes drilled everywhere.
