depending on how bad it is, you could always just pray for a rear ender. i had someone stack into me and got em to do a touch up on the boot while they were at it
but in answer to your question, i got a reasonable scratch cut back and sprayed out, and it was bigger than another one i pointed at and asked them about. the other (smaller) one they quoted 350, but this is the sort of place that preps cars for shows
Lol.... probably used a paint brush lol..... nah just joking!!
I got quoted $280 but I prepared it myself before handing it over to them to spray over. Took them only half a day I picked up the car after lunch!!
I suggest to go and look around for the best deals but yeah between $300 and $400. Don't go to anything over $450 as they would be ripping you off.
300 to 400 bucks would be the going rate at most places
i dno its green, but like there's lines, line a few bits are darker then others and yea its just not coming up right, and no im not using a paint bursh, im using my pops spray gun and air compressor. So if i were to just sand it all back down again, how much would the going price be?, if i were to sand it back my self.

sounds like your spraying your overlaps to heavy, and the paint may be drying to quickly leaving the lines on on your overlay...what ratio of thinners to paint are you using?
if you were to rub it back and prepare it properly and even supply the paint, they might only charge you $100-150 to put a few coats on for you, this is where the costing comes in,they use 2 pak enamel, then they have to colour match, this bumps the price up as it's time consuming, matching paint.
Spraying a car is not as simple as it seems, There are few steps and procedures to achieve a good spray and the quality of a finished job.
i was using around 50-50 as thats what i was told, then i was told, 60-40, 70-30 bla bla...so if i were to buy another lot of paint from autobahn and preped it back, it would be fairly cheap.

i dare say it would be....never used autobarn, what are they like at matching paint?
yeah everyone has different ideas of mixing thinners,it's 50/50 for enamel from memory, for acrylic it's 1 part paint to one and a half thinners(same can be applied to enamel i suppose to make paint go further),and from memory it's 50/50 for clear
VP2NV u get autobahn to colour match ur paint? im assuming ur greens tha same as myne, and iv been looking at getting sum paint colour matched, how much they charge and for how much (ltrs)?
yea its the same colour they did good, umm it was $40 for one liter, and they used a computer based machine that put bits of all different paints to make the colour.

sweet may have to invest, so its not jus tha holden dealer colour they use, its matched to ur car ie: fade n all that?
buy a compressor, paint gun and paint for under 400 do it yourself just about haha. i did my whole car for $400
13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!
y suply the paint when panel shops have there own n if you buy the paint n give it to em they arnt gonna put the time and effort into matching it id say around 300-400 and if a decent panel shop were to do it they would flick the top of the rear quarters for a better blend.. and id give it to em n get em to prep it cause its been done in acrylic(by the sounds of it) n most panel shops use 2 pak there for the acrylic may umm (cant think of the word) bubble up cause of the thiner in the 2pak.. so if they prep it all they kno how much they can push it.. paying the extra for them to do it is much easier and u'd get a better job..
