    Default heater question

    yeah g'day doing a heater core replacement on my wagon and and after breaking the pipe on my spare one was wondering whether i could just run heater hose thru the firewall and just join it to the heater core pipes what do you guy's reckon

    thats the way i have done a few at work knocks off about an hours work in the end

    not much room down there to work with aye
    have to get the pipe resoldered i guess was trying to do the cut and shut

    one thing you do need to do tho is get the end of the pipe flared so the hose doesnt blow off when the system is under pressure...

    hey turbo, you can get access to it by removing console and then it is accessible on right hand side and is only retained by one small plastic retainer
    and you can cut the pipes and join new one with hose or do as i'm gonna do run heater hose thru firewall and thus doing away with the pipes up thru firewall and behind dash
