Hey All,
I have a minor problem though i would like to know what it is before it becomes major...
My car ... VP V6, 5 Speed Manual, 160000kms
When i am driving at moderate speed and doing long revs.. quick gear changes, as i let the clutch out i can hear a clunking metal sound?
any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Mitch

Rear uni joint on the way out. That would be my first suggestion, or centre bearing CV, or front uni, could even be back lash in the diff. Get under the car and grab the diff yoke in one hand and the tail shaft in the other and twist them in opposite directions back and forth. If there is movement in the uni joint, it's shagged.
