    Default Stuck dizzy

    I'm trying to adjust the timing an I cant move the dizzy at all even with the bracket all the way off gggrrr please help me is there any tricks I can try to get it off?

    Brute force.....try spraying a bit of WD40 or similar around the base and let it sit for a while then try again.

    yep already tried that but with crc even left it overnight an still nuthin didn't wanna use too much force as I didn't wanna snap summik and make things 1000 times worse as it is a mate come over to help and he broke the blue plug on the side snapped the wires iff it man I coulda done that then he had to go home or his mrs would kill him or I woulda

    Lmao, sounds like a reluctant dizzy. No luck with CRC or WD-40 hey...ummm now that its broken maybe try brute force?

    worse thing it there aint much room behind there for brute force what can I use to try an force it?

    It way stuck that hard that we had to put the trolly jack ontop of the manifold put one end of a chain around the dizzy and bolt the other end to the front engine cover bolt then slowly jack it up after about 10 mins and 3-4 attemps plus making sure it dont crack the mainfold we finally got the bloody thing out YAYYY!!!!

    BUTTT OMG you should see the amount of crap on it the dizzy shaft was just covered in thick black burnt on **** and it looks like there has been oil comming out of the top of it too just imagine what the rest of the motor looks like
