Hey Guys,
1st up ne help that may b available is much welcomed...
i hv a series one VN V6, jus a stock auto, which afta a series of unfortunate events, a tire blow out and a few shaking mates ended up the wrong way thru a round about.,
i came to an abrupt halt onto a square curb and as u can guess the trailing links, a torsion bar, the diff and a few other little bits and peices were bent or pushed sideways
i figure this must be a fairly easy fix, r there ne things i should do from those who r experienced in the matter to save myself from bangin my head against the wall???
i plan to swap most of the parts from a runnig and driving wreck, because i know i hv bent an axle.
Cheers
Stevie
replacing the bent diff housing etc is straight forward. there are goingto be problems however if you have bent the panhard rod chassis mount. (the arm that mount the diff to the chassis to stop the body moving sideways over the diff). they are repairable but it's going to cost as it's structural and wil need to be done properly.
