5LV8 with some work done to it
Get 300km highway driving if i run till the 70L tanks dry
Dont even ask about economy around town![]()
damn thats bad, i get about 400 on the highway as a rough guess with 4.11s and a cam. Uses about the same as the vr v6 did
wow havent posted here yet my VP gets 450km out of a tank in city/town driving thats with a bit of hard acceleration aswell. Highway dont know i'd say 600 or more. ATM according to the trip computer i'm averaging 14.4 litres per 100klms
on the highway mine averages 10l/100km but becuase of the 4.11s and the speedo not being calibrated that ends up being 13.34l/100km which isnt too bad. dunno what it averages around town.
im getting around 300-350 to a tank. thats a lot of short trips. to and from work a few times a week is only about 1km away. i really need to go for a decent highway trip without hitting boost to see how it goes.

Mostly short trips, stop start.
I make about 600ks per tank in the VP, 70% highway, I can make 140ks from the last 1/4 notch to the red line on a highway cruise too![]()
I'm getting around 490-520 k's per tank with mainly stop start city driving on one tank of fuel in the wagon (68 litres)
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
my vp is averaging around 600 k's to about 60ish litres, 80% highway 20% town-flex- rally lol... the best its done is 690 k's at 115 km/h and it was just on the redline on the gauge when i filled up
Just thought I would clarify tank sizes, because im seeing people list ones that dont excist.

VP V8 Calais (180kW HSV enhanced, auto).
80 litre tank.
Fuel light goes on when around 65 litres has been chewed through around town - get around 350km out of that 65 litres.
City consumption ranges from 17.5 l/100km to 23 l/100km.
Highway driving usually sits at around 10.4 l/100km to 11 l/100km, so I get over 700km to a tank on the highway before the fuel light comes on.
