For all of those interested, I've attached a copy of the explosion diagram of the Sanden TRF105 air conditioner compressor. Mine comes from a VP, I'm assuming some of the other models have the same.
If you feel like ripping yours to pieces and replacing bearings, gaskets and rings, and other ****, this diagram has a full list of part numbers too, so you can go out and get new stuff
Happy reading, Cogez
Cool have you got any other ones ?
I'm looking for the for a vt
if you can tell me the model number (mine's the TRF105) I can get you the diagram no worries
Cool I'm taking it of tomorrow and I'll post the model number
The one I'm putting on is a DELPHI 5257 (I hope its the same one) I don't know what number you need so I got them all
SAE J639
part 1135257
QC011892
Gday, alot of the parts you are talking about are not avaliable to the general public or to people who do air con work.
Also you need special tools.....we spent about $1400.00 on service tools for the Sanden TR and TS series compressors.
Another thing you may not know is it illegal to carry out repairs your self on automotive air conditioning systems unless licenced, in the automotive air conditioning catagory there are three classes...1) service and repair air con systems...2) carry out overhauls...3) install air con systems. Very few people have all three...well ment to anyway.
VT to VY Commodore's use the Delphi V5 series of compressor's and again not worth rebuilding.
The only things we do on VT to VY Commodore's are front seals and maybe a control valve...we don't do them on V6's (unless the customer demands) only the V8's due to the V6 compressor's being so cheap.
regards Richard
Thanks for suppying this info, my A/C pulley is singing like a canary.
