Gearbox troubles

Hey,

I've got a vp calais 3.8 series2 and my gearbox is starting to not really like changing into or out of 3rd. Saying that it still does it, just doesn't like it at all when under pressure.

I can get a s1 gearbox thats only done 100k but will that work?
I don't know the what the differences are between s1 and s2.

yeah,, bout a month ago now.. did it when i started to notice a difference.. didnt help a bit

adjust your throttle kickdown cable on throttle body reset it a couple times.

any mechanic should do it for free as its like 2 seconds work ..

if that doesnt help throw a bottle of Nulon power steering treatment ..

also are you driving in white d or blue d

white D is for driving 60km or under

blue D is for highway or when you driving over 60.

i doubt the kick down cables the problem.. mine was set to full once and it still changed good
