VN Towbar
does anyone know if this towbar of a VR calais will fit my exec?
i only need the towbar\ball assembly part non of the rest.

my car has this slot for a towbar, is this a VR towbar system?

That there is a heavy duty towbar I do believe. If the rest of the towbar looks exactly the same as yours, then it should fit. If anything looks different at all, then probably notI love the work that has been done to cut the bumper around the towbar lip ^^ rofl

As long as both cars are live axle it will fit.
im only after the part that slots into the square hole.
you shouldnt have any probs as all toe ball fittings basically are the same size, so it should fit fine

The shaft itself is the same size but you will need to get one that has the correct angle. Because the Commodore towbar angles upwards, a tongue from a 4wd or about 90% of the other cars out there won't fit. The part where the ball is will be the wrong angle.
