AFAIK the car I posted was like that stock standard. The tint is similar to the Calais and the silver horizontal lines are black on the GTS. Check out Mack's "my ride" thread for better pics - he owns that car now.

Be aware that many of the "Alteza" style lights don't comply with ADR's and thus are not legal. The main area of non-compliance is in the reflector.

Come on mate, have you even read the ADRs? theres nothing in there that says tinting your lights isn't allowed.

As long as the lights are still visible from 200 metres away, you can have pink tint on there if you want.

Don't do what wrx884 says, he just likes mine

it does when you carry a copy of the ADRs in your car. Sure there can be wankers, but most cops if they see you actually know what your talking about, and are quite happy to prove them wrong, they will leave you alone.

I don't really think you'd need a how to for it. spray, and away you go.

Mine i had to mask up tho, as i couldn't get the plug undone on the garnish, and didn't want to wreck it. obviously i tinted the lights, let them dry, then masked up and sprayed the silver

yeah im still deciding which way ill go leaning towards the tint at the moment. my car is dark blue so clear may still be an option...
if i do go with the clear ones do most people keep the middle garnish thing or what do they do?

Man I despise clear lights on commodores. Makes it look so cheap and tacky. Always opt for the tinted lights. I also can say i've never been a big fan of the colour coded garnish on VN/P, yes SOME look OK, But the majority DON'T. Tinted with the pin stripes look ace. Remember you don't want the pin stripes to stand out like dogs balls either.

I've always loved that style of taillight, Airstrike

I've long debated with myself what they'd look like on a VP, though. How much did you pay for them?

I think that the lexan ones are suited to VN's. Because the indicator and reverse light width lines up with the striping on the VN garnish as shown above. But if your a VP garnish man, then I say go the VP taillights and take advantage of the pin striping effect.

Got them off ebay mate, can't remember exactly how much I paid, but I found them cheaper through Holmart.
