My mate came round today and said do you want some superlow king springs for $10 bucks so he had gas too go get them so i said ok he came back with some springs allright but unsure who makes them or what they are .they are powder coated red the fronts are about 250mm long not progressive all same size spring and evenly spaced .the rears are 295mm and are evenly spaced and the same diametre all the way down any idea on what brand they could be I am in NZ so they might not be australian
yeah my guess is they would be pedders. only red ones i can think off
thanks guys they should be pretty good then I presume I will go for a search
yeah, pedders sounds about right, normally the part number is on a sticker, seeing as you just cleaned em, it's propably gone
also very hard to judge final ride height from the free length of the spring

there was no sticker there probably used to be they were covered in tar and crud powdercoating is in good nick under it I wonder how low it will sit they were in a vn with one of them trademe bodykits that make it look later model and was too low too go up this guys drive so he took them out I have seen the car but cant really remember how low it was it was pretty low I dont want to go way down lucky I tucked my new exhaust up in there as much as I could
they must be pedders anyone got them in there vn or vp without a bodykit on I want too see how low they are there's three different heights of low springs in there catalogue i dont want too put them in and then find I have to take them back out cause the dual pipes hit the ground or something cause its too low and it cant be less than 150mm of ground clearance under the car so i can get a warrant of fitness
ok so I went out too my garden shed and got me a vl spring front one they are only 80mm shorter and are pretty much only missing the soft coils off the top and are fatter than a vl one so maybe they wont be too low at all
the rears are easy to fit so it won'ttake long to figure out before you do the fronts

damn good idea mmm try that tomorrow me thinks
i got superlows on ma vp hits the guards like a bit** so u mite need to get ur guards rolled, havent got round to it probli neva will :P thers a pic for ya aswell m8 pedders supa lows
chears man doesnt look too bad low without the kit what size are those wheels cant really see where the tyre is but looks good the flanges on the pacemakers are gonna be low
ther 18's m8depending on how flat the road is, sumtimes its just above the wheel sum times sittin under, ive added a close up for ya
would it be 150mm off the ground underneith
well SL are 50mm lower then stock so it shud b around the 90 to 100mm correct me if im wrong? stock height for the sedans are 143mm ground clearence so i shud come around to wot i sed
anything under 150mm here needs certification but thats only 150 dollars but 150 I dont have the cops have a bit of custom board with stepped cutouts along it and if it dont slide under the car shes off the road till its raised or certified and re warrented
so im under allready then I wonder how they gonna explain that if they pull me over my severly lowered vk was just on 150 under the chassis rail type panel work under the side of the car or maybe it was 100 it was just legal im sure max is 150 though I wonder where those measurements are taken that you listed would that include exhaust hanging down the bits that the lower control arms come off to the diff they sit a bit lower than the rail dont they that would be the lowest part
save starting a new thread does anyone know if you can still buy cheviot wheel adapters that make the hole in the centre of the wheel smaller to fit on the holden hubs I asked at the tyreshop and he rang one place and said not cant get them ive searched on the net and found nothing maybe someone might have some in a shed collecting dust ive got some nice gold and polished hotwire sort of type alloys I want to put on but cant without the adapters
you should be fine with superlows, i have em on my VH and it has about 100mm clearance under the chassis rails but only about 60mm under the lowest part of the exhaust and i've never had trouble with the cops in that. most cops don't really know the rules anyways but the work on the theory that you need to prove them wrong unfortunatly(innocent to proven guilty... yeah right!). mine has a cert so i'm not to worried
