    Pedders are red.
Has it got a part number on them some where, i think all springs should have it engraved into them or somthing.

yeah, pedders sounds about right, normally the part number is on a sticker, seeing as you just cleaned em, it's propably gone

also very hard to judge final ride height from the free length of the spring

they must be pedders anyone got them in there vn or vp without a bodykit on I want too see how low they are there's three different heights of low springs in there catalogue i dont want too put them in and then find I have to take them back out cause the dual pipes hit the ground or something cause its too low and it cant be less than 150mm of ground clearance under the car so i can get a warrant of fitness

ok so I went out too my garden shed and got me a vl spring front one they are only 80mm shorter and are pretty much only missing the soft coils off the top and are fatter than a vl one so maybe they wont be too low at all

so im under allready then I wonder how they gonna explain that if they pull me over my severly lowered vk was just on 150 under the chassis rail type panel work under the side of the car or maybe it was 100 it was just legal im sure max is 150 though I wonder where those measurements are taken that you listed would that include exhaust hanging down the bits that the lower control arms come off to the diff they sit a bit lower than the rail dont they that would be the lowest part

save starting a new thread does anyone know if you can still buy cheviot wheel adapters that make the hole in the centre of the wheel smaller to fit on the holden hubs I asked at the tyreshop and he rang one place and said not cant get them ive searched on the net and found nothing maybe someone might have some in a shed collecting dust ive got some nice gold and polished hotwire sort of type alloys I want to put on but cant without the adapters

you should be fine with superlows, i have em on my VH and it has about 100mm clearance under the chassis rails but only about 60mm under the lowest part of the exhaust and i've never had trouble with the cops in that. most cops don't really know the rules anyways but the work on the theory that you need to prove them wrong unfortunatly(innocent to proven guilty... yeah right!). mine has a cert so i'm not to worried
