knocking from rear

hey guys just recently ive noticed while driving i can hear a loud knocking noise from the rear left side tire, not sure what it could be was gonna do a tire rotation to see if tht would fix it but havent gotten round to it yet, its not a constant noise its only when the tire does a full rotation and hits tht certain point again it makes the next knock!

any help appreciated guys.

Has anything changed on the rear since it started? Like new rims/tyres? Brake work?

The first thing I would suggest is to jack the rear up by the diff so the susspension still has load on it and spin the wheel to see if it still does it. If it doesn't then it would be tyre related, if it does then try and locate the source.

well i had some tires put on not long ago...buh it wasnt making tht noise then, a lil while after i put new brake pads on...hmmm...might have to jack her up n see whats going on.

it could be some of your rubbers are worn out and the clunking is metal on metal contact
