Purchasing King Springs, super lows 2.5 inch

a mate of mine just got a job at a mechanics the other month. Going from knowing nothing at all about cars, to thinking hes now knows everything....he says that the price of the front and rear springs are different.

Does anyone know the code for 1990 series 2 vn calais, LA diff king springs?
and if the price is different? because he sold me 2 fronts for 120 and hes says the 2 rears will cost 147 sor something? is this right?

and also, does the series of the motor matter?? hes confused me he said the series matters....

I think type would matter rather then series? As in, whether its an 8 or a 6.

And rears would matter if its IRS or not.

i have a feeling that hes trying to get more money out of me.
its a v6 btw, and do u think the rears would cost more?

Honestly don't know. I had a look on the Kings website and it doesnt give prices. Maybe give a suspension place a call in your area and find out?

EDIT - I just had a quick look on my receipt for when I got all my stuff. I was charged $112 for Front and Rears for a V8 with IRS. However, I know the bloke who runs the place, and he got me good prices. Hope it puts it into perspective for you.

This guy is supposted to be my mate. he got me the fronts for 120, like 3 weeks ago and told me "dont worry the rears will be the same and ill get them in by next week tuesday at the latest" he told me this on the friday.

3 weeks later the excuse is the same "definatly tommorrow".
and the price has gone up lol bloody hell im getting really frustrated.

No worries. If he is messing you around, get them from somewhere else. Doesnt sound like much of a mate to me. It wouldnt hurt to ring up a Kings agent and just ask the question.
