well, there is a story to my vn, and it's a long story. i dont think there is enough space on this forum to cover the entire story. but yesterday, the 7th of september, 2007 exactly 17 yrs from manafacture date my vn passed on over to a better place.

father was driving the old girl back from the city. now the problem is that he didnt tell me he was driving it, and was stuck in peak hour traffic. cause on wensday it split the side of the radiator and was leaking water everywhere, so i bought a new radiator and was gonna replace it today.

ill attatch a video of what it's like now. the best way i can describe it is it reminds me of a kid with a huge frypan and a wooden spoon.

with the amount of money and tiem i have already spent on that car it's gone beyond a joke. only thing original on that car now from factory is the paint, everything and i do mean everything has been replaced.

besides, i already got the upgrades. dad was using it cause ididnt wanna let that car go.

Well there you go then looks like it has some good parts on it i might be interested in a couple but i'll leave that to the appropriate thread. Sad to hear that it going to to be no more. Its always hard to get rid of cars that you put a lot into

the mechanic said to me at my servicing, "mate, this car isn't long for this world. i wouldn't even begin to tell you what needs replacing. not worth it. best bet is to run her into the ground and save your money for a new car"

im onto my 2nd engine, 2nd trans, 2nd dif,
only thing my car didnt pass on for RWC was oil leaks (rear main) and too low
with the wreckers as your play ground how can u go wrong if i had the money id have my new motor in tommorrow + boost (need some parts)

but that sounds nasty, heat will do some silly things, the ordeal of glowing manifolds left my engine devistated, sooo much it destructed a month after fixing the issue, heads were cracked, bearings spun/worn tensioner broke, coils died
