    Question air con problem

hey put me air con on today but noticed that my compressor did not engage the clutch.....however the engine fan came on but like i said the compressor didnt do anything.
me (and me dad) bridged out the low and high pressure switchs but the fan is the only thing that comes on!!

air con has been working prior to this problem and was cooooll. but not cold and certainly not warm

also when the air con is switched on and the fan comes on the fan kinnda dies down and back up but very quickly (if u know what i mean)...kinnda like when there is a bad connection?
and when it does this the fuel pump relay (under bonnet) goes tick..tick..tick..tick.......but engin performance is still great, this only happens when i plug in the relay for the air compressor

i did replace me pully bearing in the compresson not long ago but it all worked after i did that lol

with air compressor relay out i put the air con on and the fan cuts in and the fan runs fine...................ITS A WEIRD PROBLEM lol

cars a VN 1988 and has the upgraded gas system in it

    any help would be great

well to be honest me dad (hes an electrician) tested if there was any power getting to the switches and there wasn’t so he played around with the wire/s on the switch near the radiator and it started getting power swell as the other one(confusing as we bridged the switch yesterday and the fan was the only thing that came on).... so im guessing there is/was a bad connection at the switches and was trying to trigger the clutch and couldn’t resulting in the fan dieing down and up

We made sure the compressor clutch was working buy feeding 12v to it

however when me dad checked if there was gas in the system (by pressing the valve on the cylinder thingy) there was gas in there as there was allot of pressure but there was a whitish foam stuff that came out like water when its mixed with oil???? So tomorrow im going under the car to check if the drain plug is blocked
