    Default problem with vp ss

    ok i have a problem with my vp ss i changed the ignition barrel and put a new one in and started the car fine every thing worked then i degreased the engine bay started it everything worked then 4 days later i tried to start the car and when you put the car on to assentials none of the engine lights come on and the cd player does not works and the alarm is not working there for no fuel is getting to the engine so it wont start is my problem with the alarm or is it with the electrics can anyone help cheers bjk87y

    Some water may have gotten into somewhere. I would check the battery connections first, then the fuseable link. Then go over all the fuses. Pull the harness plugs apart and blow them out, or spray a bit of WD40 in them.

    Does it actually turn over?

    yeah it turns over but wont start as my alarm has a fuel switch on it so it does not get fuel so wont start

    Water may have gotten into the alarm and shagged it. Can you disable the alarm to see if it runs?
