if i swap a s1 vn engine and auto to a 5 speed and motor will it all hook up the same as the auto motor

you will need a manual ECU, pedal box and interior parts i think.

Your best best it to have a "search" in the VN/VP section. You can do this by using the search function. It has been covered a few times, by searching you can find as much info as posible.

i tried searching but it just talks about swapping the gearbox not the entire engine and gearbox

Yes it will all hook up VN Auto/ Manual Computers are the same

You will just have to put the engine box in, use the manual pedal box, console, tailshaft, xmember and the small loom that runs around the shifter under the radio,

quite a simple job in a VN.

he said he is swapping the entire engine AND Box

so the motor and box are already complete and running so nothing needs to be changed and the motor does not have to be separated from the box.

take the old motor box out new motor box in together and use the manual parts i described in my previous post.

youll need a different gearbox mount computer is the same and tailshaft is a bit longer or shorter i forgot peddel box the reversing light and speedo harnes for the manual, pedalbox and cluch cable the insert bit to the center console not the whole lot is different. just the top plastic bit that just clips in with the shifter boot and manual plate to go over the hole the auto shifter left.and the wire to the hand brake light is really annoying to put on i sugest cutting it and joining it the yellow one from memory. everything else will be there.
