    Default Stripping back Mags

    Hey all,
I am looking to get my GTS mags resprayed and I wanted to know how to get them stripped back. Is it a sandblasting job or is it a paint stripper job? Any suggestions?

sand blast with fine glass quick easy and doesnt damage anything if any bits are chrome and you want then to stay that way and not have to polosh them up again tape up the bit you want to stay chrome before blasting

ide just sand them with some 400 grit wet and dry if they arnt chipped just too scuff the surface so the paint sticks if the clears all cracked or chipped ide blast them but they look in good nic obviousy alloy so you have to watch the paintstripper doesnt eat the alloy if you go that way

    Sodablast - 1800-SODABLAST - Home
Works the same as sand or bead blasting but is less damaging to the surface so less chance of getting pits in the alloy.

That was just one company, look up an abrasive or media blaster and see if they do soda.
