Has anyone fitted a Quick Silver shifter to a VN console? If so how did you do it and do you have pics?
At the moment, its still in the thinking phase but its getting closer to the time where I turn my attention to the interior- as such I've got plenty of time. I'm hoping to keep it looking like it came that way from the factory so understand that there is going to be a fair bit of stuffing around but I'd rather do it the long way and be happy than just take to the console with a hacksaw.
At present the trans is stock and if is entirely for wank value but there's plans for a manual valve body down the track.
Good to see you here mate!!
This is a pro ratchet (same as the one I plan to get sometime soon), but you get the idea.

I was hoping for a much cleaner install than that. I'm looking at the quick silver and I'd say that glass work is going to be unavoidable but I'd love to keep it to a minimum.
Granted that he might be a neat freak but I'm sure we have all seen cleaner installs than that... perhaps not for that particular shifter but for other after market shifters. I'll be doing away with most of the B&M surround that comes with it aswell as fitting as shorter shaft but I'd love to hear from someone who has already done it.
heres another one like what airstrike put up and i think they both have come up tops

I like the way that one is better integrated with the guages and all- except I'm kinda hoping to retain the factory look. Both of those shifters obviously make that a lot harder than some of the others in the b&m range...
