Upgrade/Refresh Suspension

Ok, the suspension in my car is SHOT. The springs are old, tired and stock.

I would like to replace the springs, shocks and sway bar link pins + all associated bushes.

Is there anything else it would be a good idea to replace?

Also, if i wish to lower the car just onto say king spring lows would I need an adjustable panhard rod or would the stock position be acceptable?

Additionally does anyone have any recommendations for anything relating to the suspension that I should consider?

EDIT: Also, how low can I take the car and still have it at a legal hieght? By that I mean lows, superlows or ultra lows? I really really really dont wanna give the cops any more reason to pull me over then they already do..... (apparently a black car makes you a bit of a target, go figure )
