Today i started up the car in the morning as per usual. got 1 min down the road and noticed the engine light on. was running good, so i pulled over and almost as soon as i pulled up it cleared.
So i continued to Tafe and keeped my eye on it. Didnt do it again the rest of the day coming home either.
Got home and i just done a quick code check. It spat 34 (Map sensor voltage too low), Soooo i checked the map sensor, part of the hose was a little frayed but not enough to leak, and the connector wasnt loose etc.. i since cleared the codes (ended up breaking the main fusible link, DIDNT KNOW IT HAD BOLTS IN IT!!!!) anyway 5 bux later its all good, should i wait and see if it does it again before investigating further?
im going to replace the hose ASAP and check error codes again next time i drive it.
also do i have to remove the main fusible link, or just the engine fusible link to clear the codes? or it it easier just to disconnect the battery?

just the engine fuse one will do the trick
heh yeah i was reefing on the main one. not knowing it had 2 bolts in it! which ended up breaking it. then i couldnt get the barstard bolts out, they were friggin tight!
was looking at the gregories just then, which i should have looked at before. It has an ENG COMP fusible link, which mine doesnt have, its just a spare blank, weird?? so i'll remeber just the engine one for next time! thanks

To clear my codes (VS) I pull the 20 amp engine fuse, turn the key on, turn off, replace the fuse and then the codes clear.
