5 spd 91 VN wagon cranks & wont start

Hi...my car wouldnt start today .thought it was out of fuel,so after work i filled it with 10 litres and it still wont start.i only had the car a couple weeks now.the only problem i had was the radiator reserve bottle boiled over in the mc'donalds drive through and one other time while in a parked position,but wasnt really low in water,just 500 ml fulled it.got a mate to take of the plug lead while cranked the engine and there was no spark,would this be the coil?

very likley your dfi and coil are stuffed.. try another one from your mate or get one from the wreakers.. i had this same prob a while bac

electronical issue,

narrows it down to

DFI
Crank angle sensor
or ecu

my advice, check wiring on the cas first, 2nd borrow a mates coil packs to test with, then if it still plays up test another ecu, if that fails replace the cas....
