Default Calais Dash Diagnostics = FAIL

I was running the diagnostics on my level 3 dash the other day (which i modified into my exec.) and it came up with FAIL in the center screen and -0---- in the right one, now i was just wondering if this is normal when you fit a level 3 in a non standard model, cos i am pretty sure that i did the instal properly. Would it be because its:
    A) A series 1 (non chime version) in a series 2
    B) the left LCD back light is blown
    C) the center and right screen have bleeds

If anyone can help me out here it would be appreciated.

    Cheers
Please PM me if you know of any L67's complete with loom and ECU are for sale

the right one indicated which button was being pressed, and the middle one is how much the injectors are flowing in litres/hour or the fuel pump voltage, depending on which screen you were on.

don't konw what caused the 'fail' in the centre screen, i dind't know that was an option. could be an open circuit somewhere.

When you get a FAIL on the test. (did it pass when you did the L3 install?) The trip computer module has failed in some way. Does all the normal functions of the trip computer work properly?

Note - Bleeds are only the LCD screens going west! And the globe is not the cause of the fail either.

Could be wires that you connected or the trip computer itself.

did you tap the wire for the ecu into the right one?

GreenVN when you refer to the trip computer do you mean the switchblock or the 4th connector?

I never tested it after the instal (about 3 months ago) because i only learnt of the diagnostic procedure lately. However everything works fine, L/100, speed alert, D.T.E etc. so i guess i should get another dash, i have been meaning to anyway cos this one is a series 1 so its got no chime only flashing light for over speeg/low fuel etc...
