Speedo fault

hey all
I have a question
I have an L3 cluster in my ute and the speedo is playing up,tried cleaning the contacts and tightening nuts.I contacted the guy i brought it off about having a look at it,i just wondered if i can put the old L2 cluster back in to test if its the L3 cluster at fault or something else.

You shouldn't have any problems putting the L2 cluster on there if it's the original cluster anyway. Is your dash wired up to accept an L3 cluster? I'm no expert, but I know there's some modification that must be performed to correctly run a L3 cluster on an L2 dash.
