Pros: Well priced tyre.
Good drift tyre in the wet.
Cons: Disappointing wet weather performance and this is when they are new so what they will be like after a few years has me worried.
Update:
Spent a day on an Eastern Creek skidpan Motorkhana and I can confirm that wet grip is poor both in traction and lateral grip.
I would not recommend these tyres.
I will never ever buy a set of those slippery, noisy, pieces of crap again!
I got the Bridgestone 593 (205/65/15) for 127 each and they are the best I have ever used.
It would be handy to know what you are comparing them to.
I went to bridgestone sourced 'supercats' from firenza st-03's. Less grip, less feel, less tramlining, less pulling with road camber. less smiles.
(225/50/r16)
anyone reccomend a good 18" tyre and not expensive one either![]()
13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!
Goodyear tyres in general are crap in the wet .. no wonder those F1 guys cant race in it ..
I love the Dunlop SP300E's
I've found the new Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin's to be sticky as in both the wet and dry. At over a thousand bucks to kit the car out in 225/50/16 size though you'd be hoping they would be. They're a very soft compound so wont last as long when pushed hard.
Update:
I couldn't "handle" the Goodyear Ducaros anymore as driving in the wet was a real hazard.
I complained to Goodyear who didn't offer any help.
I then complained to the place I bought the tyres off and they went out of their way to help me out. They organised a refund from Goodyear at a pro-rata rate and changed the tyres to Dunlop SP300E.
I noticed an immediate difference in grip and a surprising reduction in road noise. A quick shower also confirmed a significant increase in grip in the wet.
As a result I can highly recommend;

im glad your happy with the Dunlop 300e's they are a very nice tyre. I put them tyres on my relative car and they lasted about 70,000kms before I replaced them again with the 300e.
gday guys.
I have a set of pirelli P600's on my stato. Well I have spun off the road once, going around a tight bend up a hill as the car kicked down gear the ass end whiped straight out was able to control that one and keep from going into the gutter. both events were in the wet so when I drive in the wet now everyone hates being behind me due to grandpa like driving. all in all the tyre hasn't worn very well and has simply pittiful grip in the wet. they do look good with tyre shine on em though hehe. P600 = 3/10 score
Hi All,
I have a pair of P6000's on the front and am happy with the grip most of the time. Wet and not the best grip on the road can be "fun" but u get used to it.
Much better than the "Lemans touring" that are on the back (and at least 5 years old).
Dunlop W1's are the best i have ever driven on..... but $$.
If you want a cheap tyre P6000s and too bad......
My $0.02.
I bought 2 x ducaro's when they first came out then put these on the back when I purchased 2 more about 1-2 years later. I have now had the newer and older one's on the rear (similar tread). The original one's were absolutely shocking....The 2 newer ducaro's were ok (5/10). I now have dunlop 300e's and there heaps better for about $10-$15 more each.
or you could go get highway max's? as recommended by greenfoam? ive drove in damp conditions and dry and they seem to be fantastic.
Hasn't ****ed down in ages for me to test them but looking at the tread.... im assuming there going to be a good tyre in the wet![]()
P6000's r not made in germany theres ur reason 4 below par poor grip. Dont buy anything pirelli thats not from germany.

Yokohama c-drives are my recommendation. Great wet and dry grip
We had P6000 on a Pulsar and in the wet they were dreadful. No grip in any direction particularly when accelerating. The only benefit was that we used to teach our kids braking skid control when it rained (on a deserted piece of road) and I practiced left foot braking in corners. Oh..they did seem quite durable as I gave up trying to wear them out and changed them with at least 60% of the tread left.
The Dunlops which I replaced the Ducaros with are still doing well and the car feels so much more secure on the road in the wet. I checked the motorkhana results and I estimate that the Ducaros were about 15%+ slower over the courses.
