    Default 15.6 @87.69mph

hye guys just ran a 15.6 down the 1/4 mile on the 14/09/07.

this time sound about right for a car with:
    VS cold air intake
    K&N pod filter
    Eagle 9mm leads
    Lukey extrators
Lukey 2.5inch from the cat with a resornator
    Cleaned TB
and no spare tyre and just under half a tank with 200 xxx K's on the clock.

    How does that sound.

Sounds fair enough to me, Alot of VN's seem to run 16 flat so 15.6 is fine

I'ts pretty much impossible to get wheelspin in a auto VN V6 anyway if you have anything remotely like a good tyre on it , I've never had even 1cm of wheelspin in my VN in a straight line in the dry, anywhere ever. Sure you can smoke them with old hardend tyres but even average tyres stick the autos to the ground 100%

Heh yea, I'd love to do a run on a good grippy strip and see what my VP can manage without wheelspin. Especially when I eventually slap 3.7s in the diff.

That's a good time for a basically stock berlina. Must be in good nick

IhateRICE!, if you post up the 660 foot (1/8th mile) ET and the 660 mph you/me/we can work out the 0-60 mph on that run it would be good for the V6 guys like Morton to get an idea oh how his car compares

*grins* you should buy a g-tech. Although it would probably be the death of you. They get addictive

Tyres tyres tyres, can't stress enough how important they are in getting a good time. I used to be able to launch the VN with enough G's to pull the sunnies off the top of your head and throw anything in the pocket under the radio hard up again the back seat. I can do that same trick in the VP from a rolling start at like 60 ks:P

Wallace Racing -Calculate how fast your car goes 0 - 60 mph

    Your 0 to 60 time is: 7.52

That calculator is just about deadly accurate, it gives my best time at the drags like 5.69 and that's also the best run I've ever made on the gtech (5.69).

69.9mph in a V6 is almost 2 mph better than most average VN's and most I've seen run 10.3-10.5. Some better ones run 10.2, Anything that's in the 7 flat to 60 mph range will get to the half track in about 10 flat. Heaps of people can reburn your memcal for you, I'll do it for you but only since you are being good and taking your car to the track jsut send me a old v6 memcal and some return postage, I don't want to do V6 retunes anymore but for 1/4 mile demons It's ok . I might get you sub 15.5 if you are lucky :P might not too but I can try
