Is it at all possible to add/install ABS onto a VN S1 that doesnt have it?
Yep, if you throw enough money and time at it. (In other words, it's not worth doing).
Did any Vns come out with ABS????
you can do anything as stated but its whther its worth it or not.... at the cost, id say no.
Your best bet would be to try and talk to a brake specalist... i dont like your chances though..
aZk.
No ABS untill the VP/VQ SII. Worth it, nope. I've had cars with and without ABS, you would be better off spending the money on a VT brake upgrade with some good rotors, pads and fluid.
Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
Definitely possible. You'd have to transfer over discs, sensors and wiring, lines, master cylinder and ABS module from a VP, possibly some other electronic crap as well to hook up the ABS fail light and such. Why would you want to though? You'd be better off fitting a real set of brakes for the same cost.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

For less cost probably, you would have to find a VP with ABS that was being wrecked first, then just swap the entire thing over. Fit the upgrade kit, I do the RDA kit with slotted rotors for $820, or the standard rotors for $750. No master cylinder though, it won't be too difficult finding a 1" one.
