gday,
I been havin some issues with the VN, when u jump in first time for the day and turn the key it starts fine just takes a while to warm up. Then if i drive it round for an hour then leave it for an hour and go back to start it i have a bit of trouble and have to pump the accelerator while the engine cranks. anyone had this prob before?
v6 i had a new sensor put in about a month ago
i heard crank angle sensors can make warm starts troublesome. You know there are 2 coolant temp sensors right? one for the gauge and one for the ECU
i'd put money on the CAS
We got rep back, yaaay!
What Happens If You Have Replaced The Cas And Just About Everything Else And It Still Stalls And I Have To Wait For Awhile Before It Starts Again ???
Any Ideas ????
A new ecu?
Fuel pump can often be an undiagnosed source of this problem. Some old pumps can overheat and fail. Happened to a friend's car. Changed coolant temp sensor, all sorts of dials and switches, coil pack, sparks, leads, injectors, ECU... ended up being the fuel pump. Does the car die while running, or just fail to start after you turn it off?

the car dies while running and i have replaced the computer ,the crank sensor , the o2 sensor , the throttle sensor ,plugs , leads . starter moter , alternator full pump and tank the fuel filter and when i can start it it starts fine then when your driving along she just loses everything and dies and when you try to start it again it rocks and shudders and after anywhere between 1 minute to 20 minutes it will start perfectly and it might only go a few blocks and then other days she will go for a few days before it happens again its getting very frustrating, ANY IDEAS LOL
It Has A New Ecu
