5 litre or V6?, The prices will vary either way but you should find a nice 5 litre for under 5 grand pretty easy at the moment

depends if your looking at a V6 or V8 all up mine was 6500 + a trade in eb falcon, it had 155,000km on it, that was almost 1 1/2 years ago. and it's a V8.

and it also depends which state your in, i've noticed prices vary alot from state to state for the same car, S.A seems to be average in the middle price

You'll have to pay more than 5 for something mint like that I think depends though some people just don't care if they allready bought a new car or something like that then you can get a bargin

I just recently got offered 4.5k for mine as a trade in.

V8, 137 000km, dead straight, no dings, full service history and paperwork from HSV.

I said 'I suppose you give me 4.5k today, but tomorrow it will be in your used car lot for 10k' and the salesman replied 'Yep, thats spot on'.

So I would be banking on around 6k for a reasonable condition V8.

    Here is a pic.
